A single mom from Charlottesville, Virginia, is suing Albemarle School District for indoctrinating her biracial son in vital race idea, claiming her son’s conduct has modified after the college district applied an ‘anti-racism’ coverage.
Melissa Riley went on with Jesse Watters on the “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Monday, the place she mentioned how the college brainwashed her 13-year-old son, inflicting him to begin ‘seeing himself just as a Black man’ and ‘sees things that don’t go his method as racism.’
“We didn’t have issues before. He’s in 8th grade, they introduced this critical program, and now he’s having racial issues that was not there before,” mentioned Riley. “He sees himself just as a Black man. He’s seeing things that don’t go his way as racism. And he is finding safety in numbers now.”
“So what you’re saying is he gets a bad grade at school, he blames racism. Or a girl rejects him on a date, racism. Are those the kind of things you’re seeing?” Watters requested.
Riley advised Watters that her teenage son, whose father is African-American, accused her of being a racist when she requested him to wash the home.
“Yes, I asked him to clean the house. Racism, yes,” Riley responded. “He is using it as an excuse because they have told him that that’s how people see him, as a Black man, that the world is against, and [he] shows it as a negative now.”

When she confronted the college concerning the unfavorable results this system was having on her son by emphasizing racial battle and division, Riley mentioned she was advised her son may very well be a “Black spokesman for the Black community” in the college.
“When I told them I didn’t think that that would be appropriate, they told me that if he was uncomfortable with the conversations, he and other children of color could go to a safe place during these conversations,” she mentioned. “And that’s segregation.”
Riley and her son are among the many plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed in opposition to the Albemarle County School Board in December by the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the New York Publish reported. Her lawyer Ryan Bangert advised Watters in the identical interview that the college hasn’t denied its curriculum, and stands by the divisive teachings.
“They certainly are fighting back,” he mentioned. “And they don’t deny what they are teaching. They simply think it’s fine. They think it’s okay. But it’s not okay. It’s never okay. It’s never right for a school to teach kids that they are determined by their race. It’s never okay for a school to tell kids that bigotry should be fought with bigotry and racism should be fought by doubling down on racism. Those things are not okay,” Banger asserted. “They’re a violation of students’ civil rights.”
