After the finale of ‘Loki’ it is clear: The new Marvel series will also get a second season.
Disney + has revealed with a short scene in the credits of the final episode of the first season of ‘Loki’ that the series around Tom Hiddleston (40), who plays Thor’s eponymous brother, will get another season. ‘Loki will be back in season two,’ reads there in English.
First season a success
There is currently no further information about the planned second season. It is not known who should play then, what it might be about or when the whole thing will be seen. Hiddleston is likely to take over the lead role again.
The Marvel series got off to a hugely successful start on Disney + in June. One day after the publication of the first episode, around 890,000 households in the US alone had looked like the industry portal ‘Deadline’ citing data from the viewer tracking application ‘Samba TV’ reported. Disney CEO Bob Chapek (60) had later confirmed that the premiere of ‘Loki’ was the most watched on the platform so far. However, he had not given any numbers.
