34 days of shooting, the last in the countryside in Schleswig-Holstein: The film adaptation of a bestseller book by Sarah Kuttner has been completed. The cinema release is planned for 2022.
The director and actor Til Schweiger has completed the filming of the bestseller ‘Kurt’ by Sarah Kuttner.
The last flap for the film fell on Thursday in Schwedeneck, Schleswig-Holstein (Rendsburg-Eckernförde district), said a spokeswoman for the Via Berlin film agency on Friday. According to the information, «Kurt» was shot over 34 days in Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. Shooting started at the end of May.
The film tells the story of the harrowing fate of a young blended family – and how love can overcome even the worst misfortunes in a sensitive way. Til Schweiger and Franziska Machens as well as Jasmin Gerat play the leading roles. The film is expected to hit cinemas in 2022.
